The Back Room is our private event space at 707 N Pine St — showers, graduation and retirement parties, book clubs, quiet business mornings. A room with a door of its own, candles if you want them, and coffee that people talk about afterward.

The part people remember isn't the room. It's who was in it.

Engagement parties, baby and bridal showers, graduation and retirement celebrations, book clubs, business presentations and meetings — all in one room off the café. We keep it simple on purpose. Move the tables where you want them. Bring your own cake. Put on your own playlist. We'll handle the coffee, keep the pastry trays full, and stay out of the photographs.

Send a request with your date and details. We'll confirm availability by email, then a deposit locks it in. Nothing is reserved until you hear back from us.
Yes. Outside catering and desserts are welcome. If you'd rather not think about it, we'll handle coffee service, pastries and food for you.
Please do. Tape, tacks and anything that leaves a mark on the walls are the only no. We ask that everything comes back down at the end of your time.
Cancel more than seven days out and your deposit is fully refunded. Inside seven days it's non-refundable, but we'll do our best to move you to another date.
The Back Room is a separate space which will show as reserved, so the front of the café keeps running without your party becoming part of it. If you need a fully private event, please let us know in the contact form above or schedule for after-hours.
The entrance is street-level and step-free, and the room itself is flat with movable seating.
